The Full Monty Production

The North Carolina Theatre and Leadership North Carolina have partnered to provide LNC Alumni an opportunity to attend the 2010 showing of "The Full Monty". All alumni, spouses and guests can purchase tickets, for the orchestra section, at 35% off the original ticket price. Come enjoy an evening out and a chance to meet other LNC Alumni.

Starring two-time Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers and Raleigh’s own Ira David Wood III.

There is great heart in THE FULL MONTY as six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. In the process they discover renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship and the ability to have fun. As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness and anxieties, they find the strength as a group to overcome their inner demons. Nominated for nine Tony Awards, THE FULL MONTY is a feel-good musical with a modern and delightfully wicked sensibility.

ALUMNI FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

A cornerstone that is vital to ensuring the sustainability and support of our high caliber programming, is the Alumni Campaign.  On January 21 during the annual State of the State Forum in New Bern, we kicked off the public phase of this campaign.  One-hundred percent of our Board of Directors, each of the Class Agents, as well as numerous former members of our board have already committed to our goal of 25% participation for 2009-2010 and have pledged their financial support.  Class XI was recognized as the class with the highest alumni participation in last year’s campaign with 51%!

We want to personally invite each alumnus to be a part of the 2009-2010 Alumni Campaign by securing your financial pledge before March 31, 2010.  Your gift will be included in the class total, set a benchmark of giving and continue to energize friendly competition among classes (Click here to see where your class is ranked). Every dollar will support the programming LNC is known for and continue the experience you had for future leaders.  To ensure our continued success, please click on the link below or mail in the pledge card below before March 31, 2010.

Remember, even though we have a monetary goal our primary focus is 100% participation from class members  (Click here to see your the participation rate of your class). Whether you can give $50 or $5,000 dollars we strive to achieve some level of support from each of our class members.  Please know that we are simply asking for a pledge at this moment in time and you will be presented with a variety of payment options (i.e. check, cash, credit card) and plans (i.e. annual, semiannual, quarterly, monthly) once we secure your support.
