2010 STATE OF THE STATE FORUM
INFORM. ENGAGE. LEAD.
On Thursday, January 21, 2010,
LEADERSHIP North Carolina hosted its Third Annual State of the State
Forum in New Bern, North Carolina. Each year, the forum serves
as the flagship alumni and recruitment event for our organization.
Over 125 leaders including alumni, current and former members of the
LNC Board of Directors, nominees and business leaders were in
attendance.
Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton
served as the 2010 keynote speaker, delivering an inspirational
message on the "Future of North Carolina". The Forum was
informative, exciting and highlighted areas of the economy, military
impact, education, demographic changes, the 2010 election and
current developments in Washington which will affect our state.
